Meet Hannah

Connecting with people, bringing a creative idea to life, and delivering joy to others, Hannah has discovered a deep love and appreciation for the performing arts. Along the way, some amazing organizations and very cool professionals and artists have provided opportunities for Hannah to share her love.

      Storyteller at Heart

Thanks to the Midland Storytelling Festival in Midland, TX, Hannah was first introduced to the world of storytelling, and she soon discovered her passion for telling stories, meeting other local and renowned storytellers, and reaching beyond her limits in combining her musical and storytelling talents.

Hannah was invited to participate in her first National Youth Storytelling Festival in Lehi, Utah in September 2023. As one of ten national youth finalists, Hannah performed in front of several audiences, including the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival, recorded her story with The Apple Seed radio and podcast, and participated in public humanities discussions. Marking her second year as a National Youth Storyteller, Hannah was excited to return to the festival in September 2024.

A Flair for Acting

With an incredibly big heart, facial expressions that light up a room, and a knack for the spoken word, Hannah fell in love with acting when she was ten years old after performing in a musical written by gifted friends. Landing the role of Fritz in The Nutcracker enabled Hannah to combine her classical ballet training with her love and flair for drama. In 2023, Hannah began her first year as a Pickwick Player for Midland Community Theater with her debut performance in the musical, Leader of the Pack and performed the role of Brigitta for the Sound of Music in November and December 2023. In spring 2024, Hannah played the role of Anne in Anne of Green Gables and recently performed the role of Terry in Babes in Arms and Puck in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Hannah is currently enjoying her role as Susan Waverly in the holiday classic White Christmas.

Spreading Joy with a Ukulele

The lighthearted and whimsical sounds of the Ukulele prove a brilliant match to Hannah's personality. Having learned basic chords, Hannah enjoys incorporating her playing with her storytelling. The story song, Abiyoyo, written by Pete Seeger as an adaptation of an old South African lullaby, is one of Hannah’s all-time favorite stories to share with others.

Anchored in Classical Ballet

Hannah has spent the past ten years learning and building upon the foundation of classical ballet. She has incorporated the values of hard work, discipline, perseverance, motivation, and teamwork she has acquired into all aspects of her life. Hannah has been a proud member of the award-winning, pre-professional civic company at Midland Festival Ballet. She has danced in numerous performances of The Nutcracker, with her most recent roles as Fritz and a Chinese Doll. She was thrilled to dance in the world ballet premiere of Aladdin by Jill Behar.
